Torreón is a young city, located in southwest Coahuila, Mexico. 

Throughout its 100-year history, immigrants have been an important part of the city's development not only the Spanish, but also a significant number of Chinese, Palestinian, Syrian, French, German, British and American residents, among others. The city and its people embraced the diversity of all newcomers and this is reflected in its design and culture.
